Captive Feasibility Video

Timothy L. Coomer, Ph.D.

The captive industry offers a wide variety of solutions to the issues faced by companies needing property and casualty insurance coverage, but exploring these options can easily start to feel like an overwhelming prospect. While decisions regarding structure and domicile may provide a solid understanding of the captive’s future operations, the ultimate decision is based on whether or not the captive will be economically feasible, which is where the captive feasibility study comes in. To help with this step of the process, we created an Accelerated Training Video in RISK66 explaining each of the study’s facets in detail, as well as exploring the underlying reasons for establishing a captive. As with all of our Accelerated Training Videos, this seven-minute primer serves as a fantastic way to come to grips with one of the most important parts of the captive creation process.Current RISK66 subscribers can access the video here:

Once you’ve taken a few moments to watch the recording, we’d love to hear from you with any feedback or questions you may have about the inner workings of the captive feasibility study. Reach out by posting a comment or email us at support@SIGMAactuary.com.
